  In astrology there are few indicators of fame in birth astrology. Having stellium in 10th or 11th house, for example. Stellium means having 3 or more planets in one particular house. Sun in specific house or at certain degree can indicate fame, not only Sun it can be another planet too. Sun is traditional indicator of fame. Indicators of fame can be: the Sun in the 1st, 5th, 10th and 11th house, exalted Venus is Pisces, exalted Sun in Aries, Sun conjunct North node, Leo placements in 1st, 5th, 7th, 10th, 11th house, late degree Aquarius Moon, Venus conjunct Mars, North node in 1st, 5th, 10th, 11th house, chart ruler in 5th, 10th and 11th house, Jupiter in 5th or 11th house and Scorpio and Libra risings. 

A planet at 5 degrees can bring short term fame. Many artists who were considered as one hit wonder had this in their chart. A planet at 17 degrees is also an indicator of fame. The highest degree in astrology is 29, the people with planet with this degree may experience long term fame. It is important to look at degrees next to personal planets, like Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and Mars. Other planets like Saturn, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and asteroids are less important. Sun represents the personality , Moon your emotions, Jupiter knowledge and success, Venus creativity, Mercury your words, Ascendant sign your presentation, Mars represents power and ambition. Degrees 5º, 17º, 29º and personal planets show the reason for getting the attention. There is also cancer degree at 28, it's household name. It applies to personal placements. The number 28 is important in numerology too, representing the extreme wealth. North node isn't considered as personal placement, although being in 10th house it represents an effort as a reason for being known. North node represents the soul's purpose. 

North node is in Vedic astrology called Rahu. North node or Rahu represents fame in modern terms, like being a sensation on internet or social media. Being an online celebrity or to go "viral" can bring contracts and money. North node fame can last temporally, those individuals gain attention online which doesn't always last. People with Sun- North node conjunction can gain massive fame. 

Rahu In The 1st:

This is generally considered a major “fame” placement. You’re likely to be popular, well known, or famous for being yourself. This can make you known for your physical appearance (you might be very beautiful). Can even gain fame for your personality. This placement can make you very popular in any social circle.

Rahu in The 2nd:

You can gain fame for: your face and your speech. Since the 2nd house rules the face, Rahu’s influence can make you gain notoriety for your face (it’s likely you are beautiful). A lot of supermodels/celebs have Rahu in 2nd. It can give otherworldly beauty. You can end up being “the face” of something at some point in your life. Another avenue is speech, and things you say or wisdom you share can bring you fame. May even give singing talents.

Rahu In The 3rd:

You can gain fame for your opinions. Fame will likely come to you through anything media related. This is the placement of someone with a popular blog or instagram account. Your writing, and posts have the potential to bring you attention or notoriety. It’s possible you gain fame through school or siblings too.

Rahu In The 4th:

Family brings you fame. It’s likely fame comes to you bc of your family or through a family member (especially mother). You can gain fame for your private matters going public. Fame can also come to you because of your home. You can end up being that person known for having a really nice home, or something odd or unique in your home. Can be known for your car too.

Rahu In The 5th:

You can gain fame through the entertainment industry. Music, movies, theater, performance art etc. Pregnancy and children can bring you fame. You may become known through teaching or education. Romance and the people you date can make you well known. Can even gain fame through publishing a book, blog, YouTube channel etc. Known for your creative self expression.

Rahu In The 6th:

Gains fame through your job. Whatever your role is in your career can make you well known. You may become famous because of acts of service. Your pets might even bring you notoriety. Anything health related can grant you fame as well. You may become known for the battles and obstacles you’ve overcome. Divorce brings fame, legal battles can too.

Rahu In The 7th:

Fame comes to you through partnership. You become well known through marriage. Can indicate marrying a famous spouse. You gain a well known reputation because of your social connections. Can gain fame through litigation or legal disputes.

Rahu In The 8th:

The occult brings you fame. Anything to deal with the taboo topics of life, spirituality, occultism etc brings you notoriety. You can be famous for your spouse, or who you have been with intimately. You might marry someone famous. Divorce can bring fame. Publicizing your traumatic experiences can bring fame. You can known for s3x work/s3x appeal. You might also become famous or well known after death.

Rahu In The 9th:

You gain fame for your knowledge. This placement can give a famous author for example. Your beliefs, ideas and teachings can gain you notoriety. You might also gain fame through marriage, or have a well publicized wedding. School can bring you fame too, especially college, grad school etc can make you well known. Even travel & foreign lands too.

Rahu In The 10th:

Another fame placement. Can naturally find your way into high positions in society. Can give a notorious reputation. You can become famous from the positions you have in life. For ex: you’d be known as the boss of something. Fame finds you through your career. You may even work with famous people. Anything related to government or politics can bring you fame too.

Rahu In The 11th:

Brings fame through the internet. Likely to gain a following online easily. Can gain fame through friends or social networks. You might have famous friends or know influential people. Fame comes to you through social organizations or groups you’re a part of. Generally speaking this can bring you social status and popularity.

Rahu In The 12th:

Gains fame in foreign lands. You may gain fame as a result of dealing with anything “foreign” or international. For example; travel, foreign affairs etc. You might become known due to your charitable or humanitarian endeavors. Moments of solitude can bring fame. Gains fame through artistic abilities. The losses you’ve taken can bring a lot of notoriety to you. You might gain fame after death.
